Western Funding Introduces Garrett Weyrich

Western Funding, Inc. is excited to welcome Garrett Weyrich as the new Vice President of Sales and Marketing.

Weyrich graduated from Northern Kentucky University with a Bachelor’s degree in organizational leadership. He joins Western Funding with over 17 years of Auto Finance experience. His background includes experience in indirect auto financing, bulk purchasing, floorplan financing, and digital advertising.

“Western Funding has seen significant growth since resuming operations in 2014,” said Bret Pangborn, Vice President of Western Funding Inc. “Garrett has had multiple successes with companies of similar business models to WFI. We look forward to utilizing this experience, knowledge and leadership to enhance Western Funding’s continued growth.”

Garrett started his career with US Bank Auto Remarketing, selling/financing off-lease vehicles to customers, dealers, and wholesalers, before moving on to Wells Fargo Auto Finance, where he gained experience in Bulk purchasing and Point-of-Sale Financing.

“Garrett has had multiple successes with companies of similar business models to WFI. We look forward to utilizing this experience, knowledge and leadership to enhance Western Funding’s continued growth.”

He then moved on to Credit Acceptance Corporation where he helped build the state of Florida into one of their top volume producing states, as Market Area Manager. Mr. Weyrich then helped drive the expansion of GO Financial into the Midwest as National Sales Manager in 2012.

“Garrett brings a lot of experience in auto finance that will help him be a great sales leader,” commented Ian Anderson, Westlake Financial Holding Group President. “That past knowledge will help Western Funding continue to grow in our competitive industry.”

Western Funding Inc. (WFI) provides dealers the opportunity to build a portfolio of accounts, and own the majority of the profits of each deal, without assigning the portfolio to Western Funding. WFI’s Triple Pay program gives dealers three (3) opportunities to receive payment on the same contract. Dealerships maximize their profits by earning up to 81% of the total customer payments. Triple Pay is a product geared toward lower mileage and newer model year vehicles.
