At Western Funding Inc. we take great pride in our commitment to protect our customers from identity theft. A written Identity Theft Prevention program has been written and implemented. This program is designed to:
- Identify relevant Red Flags
- Detect Red Flags
- Respond appropriately to any Red Flags that are detected, to prevent and mititgate identity theft.
- Ensure the Program, including Red Flags determined to be relevant, is updated periodically to reflect changes in risks to customers and to the safety and soundness of Western Funding Incorporated.
Western Funding Incorporated will administrate the program by:
- Obtaining approvals of the initial written Program from the Board of Directors.
- Having the Chief Compliance Officer develop, implement and administrate the Program.
- Training staff to effectively implement the Program.
- Exercising appropriate and effective oversight of service provider arrangements.
Western Funding Incorporated will develop and implement resonable policies and procedures for furnishing an address for the consumer which the user has reasonably confirmed is accurate with the customer reporting agency from which it received the notice of address discrepancy.
